e-support
...... for equality and diversity development programmes
e-support simply refers to the use of the internet to facilitate processes. At Natty Platy we use the internet at four key stages in a full development programme. We use the internet for what it is good at; collection of data from a large number of people spread over a large geographical area and delivery of information to the same people.
Benchmark research
To evaluate the impact of a development programme, benchmark research should be carried out. The large number of people working in public sector organisations in particular makes web based collection of data from most employees appropriate for the sensible management of costs.
Information update
With legislation and good practise developing all the time it is important to keep on top of developments. Regular emailed and/or web based updates keep employees up to date after their initial training.
Refresher training
Annually, or at another interval, trainees receive a short on-line refresher training session which is a summary of the previous twelve months updates along with the key basic principles. Alternative this can be delivered in the classroom.
Testing and evaluation
Regular on-line testing ensures that employees are staying on top.
